Gulmarg: The Meadows of Flowers
The hill station of Gulmarg is located in the Baramulla district of Kashmir. Gulmarg literally means the meadows of flowers. Testifying the sobriquet of Heaven for Kashmir, Gulmarg Tourism also boasts of the highest golf course in the world. The slopes of Gulmarg make it Asia's only resort for skiing. A haunt for the Kings in summer, Gulmarg's history dates back to the era of Kings like Jahangir and Yousuf Shah Chak.
